Butterhorns

I was having a lovely trip down memory lane the other day, thinking about Grandma's cooking and baking when I realized that Cheryl was with Aunt Pauline and might be able to help me get my metaphorical hands on some of her recipes.

This is her recipe for butterhorns.  These are a childhood favourite.  I could gobble them straight from the bag if they were fresh.  Even if I follow this recipe to the letter, they will never taste the same as hers though.  It is my understanding that her secret ingredient was duck lard, sourced from local Hutterite colonies.

That's okay.  This recipe is officially on my list.
